Matilda Award judges meeting tonight at the Powerhouse. As anyone who knows me knows, I hate meetings with a burning passion. But not the Matilda's meetings. I look forward to these two hours once a month or so. What's not to love about sitting in a room with people passionate about theatre talking theatre? Nothing. We don't always agree. In fact that's an understatement. But everyone is smart and funny and bitingly insightful and I like that. Also I like that everyone is respectful even if they find what they are heating fundamentally flawed. Colourful people. Colourful opinions. Colourful language ... and snack. Perfect really
