March 1. Day 61. Feathering my nest

Work. Sleep. Work. Sleep. Repeat.
It often seems like that and then there's a day that makes you stop and think about work and you realise that if you have to work hard for the money there are far worse things that you could do. Today was one of those days.
Today I led a group of students to the ABC at South Bank where plans were laid out for a joint initiative between the ABC and the university to allow students to cover the World Science Festival.
The students were given a unique insight into how an organisation such as the ABC approaches event coverage.
And next week, the students will join other members of the world media in reporting on the event.
It is kind of awesome. I feel very confident that the students will rise to the occasion, spread their wings and fly.
