It's all rather exhausting this being at the beach business. I mean, you have to be up at the crack of dawn to greet the rising sun and see the early birds. You must embrace the Wednesday market day tradition and seek out a bargain or two at Eumundi and then of course later in the day an afternoon stroll along the beach is pretty much compulsory. Naturally, one has to sniff out and chat to the characters one meets along the way. There's the woman at the markets who has made carry bags for her dogs Bella and Honey and the author who is selling the kids story books he has written. Plus there's the bloke standing guard over the magnificent sand sculpture on the beach. He didn't make it but thought it needed the candles and embellishments. Just another day in paradiseThis is where I was going to take a photo a day in 2012 but forgot to stop. I also write something random to give you an insight into the craziness that is Susan's mind.

What a gorgeous range - love the closeups of the sandcastle and the bird in that blue sky. I now have that market song going around in my head. What a busy day that does sound like.
