Well Kermit, my theory is this. Rainbows appear after the rain. They are beautiful, unpredictable and a bit mystical. They signal a change is in the air and with that comes hope and expectation.
I don't believe in pots of gold (but if there is one I'd be happy to be proven wrong) but rainbows are their own reward and just another proof that nature can create in a way man never can.
