Of course you have to take the good with the bad. Yep, this is a land of drought and flooding rains but it is also a place with blue skies and beaches that go on for miles and I reckon that's a compromise worth making. And We might not have a monopoly on things that creep, crawl, bite and sting but we do have more than our fair share. Indeed, on the walk to the beach this afternoon my mother was greeted by a snake on the beach path and once there we discovered more than a couple of jelly fish. When confronted with such a situation, what's a family to do? Easy. Start a jelly fish war and start hurling the dead jellies between chasing dogs and each other. For sure it might not be perfect but it's pretty damn close.
