September 3. Day 247. Bee-utiful

Well isn't this the bee's knees?
Three days into Spring and the bees are not the only ones to have noticed the increase of pollen out there.
Spring is absolutely my favourite time of the year because if nothing else it means it is nine months until we have to endure winter again. I don't do winter.
The weather is just perfect at this time of year, flowers are starting to bloom and the days are getting longer but there's not the stinking heat and humidity that comes with summer and hangs around into autumn.
But there is a sting in the tail. With the spring flowers comes the pollen and with the pollen comes the hay fever. Sneezing, wheezing and watery eyes are a less than attractive side effect of Spring.
But that's why God made antihistamines and dosed up I can still take the time to stop and smell the flowers.
This photo would suggest I'm not the only one who thinks they are bee-utiful.
