Meeting night. I'm not a lover of meetings - at all. But for every rule there can be an exception.
And the Matilda's meetings are the exception.
Sitting around a table discussing theatre in Queensland is hardly a chore. In fact, it is the opposite of a chore.
We sit around a large table and eat and talk.
And the main meal is a big fat serve of theatre.
Plus it's at the Brisbane Powerhouse which is an ongoing symbol of what happens when you honour an old building rather than bulldoze it.
