Given the alternative, that's a huge thing to celebrate.
Birthdays are kind of weird, I mean it's not as if you had any actual say in the process of birth or role in it and yet it's a big thing to celebrate.
And so I did.
Here's to the ladies who lunch, I say.
It was a fine Chow down with a cocktail and a desert wine followed by a movie and then a nap.
So really many of the things in life I list as my favourite things.
If you can't party on your birthday when can you?
