This is a great time of year. I don't do cold. At all. But right now it is mild, beautifully mild. The nights might set in earlier than one might like but they do so with such flourish it's hard to complain.
It's like someone got out a big box of coloured pencils and played with a whole section of them, gradually moving from the more vibrant tones to the darker ones. It'm impressive in a way that would look forced in a painting or an Instagram filter but stunning in real life. Today the great gods of sunset were working their magic. I admired their work.
If you are going to do it you might as well do it properly, right?
