Seriously, it never rains but it pours. Such it is with butterflies. They are always just out of reach, the flit about never sitting still for long enough to really get a measure on them. Well normally. But yesterday there was a slight drizzle of butterflies due to the fact that millions of them are apparently in the city. But today the skies opened and down they came. Forget raining cats and dogs, it was raining butterflies. This afternoon, I spent about 10 minutes standing outside some drama studios waiting for Drama Teen to finish a short course. Over the years, I have spent an awful lot of time waiting for rehearsals to end but never have I noticed butterflies. Today there was no missing them. They were everywhere and they kindly decided to sit on a tree for a bit to allowed me to photograph them. Jolly obliging, when you think about it.
