Until today, I'd never heard of Harvey Lister. I love Harvey Lister. Harvey is chairman of AEG-Ogden the company that wants to build Brisbane Live. Anyone who want to build a facility that officially kills of the Boondall Entertainment Centre deserves a big fat seal of approval. In truth, Boondall has been dead as a venue for two decades, probably more. And yet it still exists ... sucking the will out of concert goers at every outing. A new facility over the Roma Street train station makes so much sense. It is so long overdue. Brisbane Live is just one of the game changing developments planned for Brisbane outlined at the
Brisbane Media Club lunch today. 10 men in suits were lined up and questioned by Melissa Downes. It was fascinating listening. There is a whole lot to look forward to. new public transport links, new accommodation, new office blocks but most of all that replacement venue. Bring. It. On
