The saying would have us believe it is a delight for sailors.
I am not a sailor, obviously.
I get seasick.
Tonight I felt seasick. There are other ways to rock the boat that don't involve tides and waves.
There has been a big storm brewing and late this afternoon it hit and it hit hard.
I'm still reeling.
The clouds had been brewing for a while. It was coming. It was dark. It was always going to be unforgiving and I think the damage may take time to clear.
That's probably all I should say at least for now.
I have three months off work to deal. We'll see what that brings.
