It was a case of deja vu all over again (yes, I'm fully aware that deja vu means the feeling that one has lived the situation before ... this situation, however, is more like a recurring bad dream). Another fall, another ambulance another hospital stay. And just to add to that feeling of been there/done that, Margaret was admitted to exactly the same bed in exactly the same ward she was discharged from 10 days ago. The woman in the next bed is still there. It's all a bit surreal. For Margaret, right now seems like it's just a blur. I can't find her hearing aids. We write notes and then she sleeps. I answer the questions I know by heart and fill in the same forms again. It's all you can do

August 2. Day 215. History repeats
