October 13. Day 286. Survival of the fittest

It's a mean old dog-eat-dog or more accurately lizard-eat-lizard world out there. Quite frankly you never know what's going to get you next. This can be good. But it often isn't. But the unknowing keeps you on your toes and keeps life interesting. Of all the things that could have been confronting about today, a stroll around Roma Street Parklands wasn't supposed to be it. That was meant to be a nice time, a relaxing time where I would photograph ducks or flowers or the pretty things in life. However, I'd barely started my stroll when I saw this. It was like the metaphorical car crash. I was horrified, it is frightening but I couldn't look away. And gross as it was, I still think the photos are totally awesome (except I can't look at them).

  1. I'm going to take your word for it that they're awesome, they normally are! ;-) Can't bring myself to look either though, sorry!

Thanks for linking up to Project 365.
