May 2. Day 122. News of the day

They say that teachers often learn as much from their students as they teach them. Clearly I have a lot to learn. Today I decided to visit the TV studios during the filming of the news. Now as everyone should know that means phones off.
The students know that. They are most professional. So whose phone was it that went "bing"?! Mine, obviously. Fortunately it was in a break between takes. I backed out of the studio tail between my legs. Perhaps I could argue that I was making a point - I could argue that but not with any conviction. Best to quit while you are behind.
